The current owner of this remarkable vessel is both a professional skipper and a marine industry worker. ULU has undergone an $80,000 re-fit since her purchase in 2007, and at least 1,000 man hours have gone into her to date. During her restorations, ULU was given a full peel by Oz Peel, a complete re-glassing including a heat mat treatment, a full new epoxy hull and repairing with microballoons. All running gear, servicing, removal of all sea cocks and full below the floorboards rebuild were completed during restorations also.With a unique teak doghouse for extra weather protection and renewed holding tanks, pumps and plumbing, she is better than new below the waterline. Her teak work has been stripped, sanded and coated seven times by International Goldspar.
