Crow Bar, a Masrm 940 designed and built by Merv Anderson in 1997, is now for sale exclusively with YOTI. Boasting a very solid sail wardrobe and current CAT 4 safety, Crow Bar is ready for racing. Designed for offshore competition where depth is a consideration, the 940's keel with lead bulb is retractable and is easily operated by an electric winch which was replaced in 2014. When lowered the keel is very snugly secured by 20 and 25mm stainless steel bolts. The rudder with stainless steel stock and the yachts rig were designed by David Lyons. All this translates to a boat which can win races and her results prove it after racing very successfully out of Mooloolaba YC and multiple clubs around Sydney. What sets Crow Bar apart from many other options in her class is the very tidy interior and ability to be easily utilised for comfortable and very quick weekend cruising with a large saloon table converting from the nav station, ample berths for 5, neat upholstery and good head room.
