The saloon gives the feeling of a much larger boat in its dimensions. Three steps down the Teak companion way is all it takes to make your way to the forward master berth, an island style queen berth installation with clear access either side. This gives many boats in its class a run for their money for room and access. Half way down the hallway to Starboard a sizeable pair of bunks offers the children or guests a quality night's sleep, again there are a few better known brands on the market that could learn from this allocation of space. Looking your best will be a simple affair with a large bathroom to Port, separate shower and vanity. Not having your towel wet from the shower spray a simple but greatly appreciated position at the end of the day's events. Plenty of room with the head installation being in a forward, aft orientation. Heading up the Stainless Steel and Teak finished cockpit ladder to the helm an easy process directly off the saloon door leads you to a large flybridge neatly arranged with bench seating forward of the helm the option of twin helm seats and a wide clutter free helm station. Uninterrupted vision from the helm making this a pleasure to berth at the end of a day on the water. Raymarine Sounder, GPS, radar and Auto pilot bringing you home safely. The Hi-Star 42 is built with the traditional, time-honoured activities of boating in mind with overnight cruising and saltwater fishing clearly in mind, with a generous beam, comfortable draft and a semi-displacement hull design she is sure footed over the water and great at rest.
