Once under way, I was surprised to find that at3500rpm, in medium chop and a head wind of 24k/ph, we were achieving 42.1 k/ph (23kts) and a fuelconsumption of 1.92 kilometres per litre. At thisspeed, the boat is very smooth and feels solid. Eventhough trim tabs were installed, there was no need touse them. Coupled with the 200 litre tank, using only90% capacity and cruising at 42 kph, this boat has arange of 345 kilometres (187nm). Increasing theengine speed just increased the speed and we rodecomfortably over the 300-500mm chop. Everythrottle movement can be felt through the seat meter. Once at WOT and hitting 70 kph (38 kts), the onlything I desired was more hp, as this boat is the mostviceless centre console I have ever driven! Lots ofboats can go fast, but this one turns also. Gracefularcs, gentle turns, easy. But if the mood takes you, fullspeed hard cornering is fun. I would recommend thishull to even a first time boatie.
