Indian Chief is a high performance Grainger designed racing catamaran that has now proven to be the top OMR rating catamaran in Australia over the past 3 national titles. Having won the 2012 Nationals, the boat has continuely developed and although the national title has eluded in the past 2 attempts she has only been beaten by Trimarans leaving "The Chief" as the top OMR catamaran in Australia. Indian Chief was originally commissioned by long time multihuller, Tony Considine. Her hulls are built from modified Grainger design Raider moulds from high impact foam and carbon fibre. All other components including, mast, main and rear beams and foils were manufactured in Sweden by Mastrome. She is a tough, lightweight ocean capable trailable racer. Launched in 2006 and campaigned as APC Max, The Chief sports a comprehensive, no expense spared sail wardrobe from, Ben Kelly at Quantum. She is recognised as the "Red Boat" due to her Ferrari red colour scheme. Enjoyed by many that have sailed on her she continues to look the goods on the various race tracks around Australia. Able to be comfortably overnighted and easily handled on the water by two, she moonlights as a fast weekender.
