Pacific Endeavour is a highly regarded 75' New Westcoaster, originally launched in Fremantle in 2007. Built to BV Classification, this highly specified vessel was originally purpose-built for Tuna longlining and spent 12 years fishing in New Caledonia before moving to Fiji, for continued operations in the Tuna Fishery. The vessel later transitioned to a New Zealand fishing company before being acquired by Austral Fisheries in 2021, for their Northern Territory Timor Box fish trapping operation. Pacific Endeavour has undergone a major refit since, including a full rebuild of the main engine, gearbox, and auxiliary engines, along with an extensive wiring upgrade. A range of quality and reliable electronics have been installed, including a high-performance sonar system and a WASP 3D bottom plotter. Currently operating in the Northern Territory Timor Box fishery out of Darwin, the Pacific Endeavour is a versatile commerical fishing vessel that can be easily modified for return to the East Coast Tuna Fishery, or adapted for other commercial fishing operations if required.
