The one thing in common with all these custom boats is that they were all designed by David Pleysier, who has long been considered at the forefront of game boat design. One of the last designs David drew was the 11.4 meter �Shakara�, at first glance she does not look like a classic Pleysier. Whilst the tried & proven hull remains the same, the super structure looks much more modern, with smooth flowing lines and wrap around cabin structure. Shakara`s soft ride into a seaway, light footed manoeuvrability when chasing game fish in both forward & reverse, plus the fuel economy are quite simply �remarkable. Not surprising when you have a fully loaded weight of 7 tonnes, achieved through the extensive use of beautifully crafted triple diagonally planked Australian Red Cedar in her hull, laminated and sheathed in E-glass by a team of the finest shipwrights in SE Queensland, offering both protection to the hull but also a beautiful finish. The cockpit area is amazing, lift up engine boxes for easy access when inspecting or servicing her motors, also offer a great area for crew to watch baits & teasers, whilst being out of the sun.
