This is not one of the normal Sunrunners you might come across, I havent seen one in as long as I can remember. With the registration papers listing it as 11.30 m or just over 37 feet it is not a small 34 footer by anyone's imagination. There is a lot of boat here although the layout is generally the same as the 3300 with its collection of lounges in the cockpit, a solid sized wet bar and easy access to the transom. That is about where it ends with over 3 feet of extra boat according to the paperwork and nearly a foot wider it's a boat on steroids. The transom swim platform will accommodate a couple of deck chairs with ease and still have room to move. The cockpit is wider, deeper and the lounges longer and they seem more comfortable as well. The wetbar is larger and the incorporated ice chest holds more refreshing drinks for a long day at sea. Step up to the helm position and the vision is better, windscreens larger and the helm seat wider. The ever popular port side lounge takes on a whole new look at this size and the helm seat is deep and wraps you up in its high back design. Clear vision over the control centre with everything in its place, compact and concise. Heading down the large cabin door opens up to the recently renovated cabin area, new carpets throughout, new door catches even new mirrors in the bathroom. Standing over 6 feet tall is not an issue there is plenty of headroom in the saloon and leg room in the forward berth, even the aft cabin has room to spare complete with its own basin and seating. This is not a confined berth like you may see on the 3300.Your galley is typically to the starboard side and sports all you may need although the gas has been disconnected it wouldnt take much to reconnect. Why bother, with a large swim platform just hook a BBQ up to the rail and enjoy the sunshine. This is an honest boat from all that I can see, and where can you buy a boat at 37 feet for such a price and with only 460 odd hours of easy river cruising use. I am sure there will be a small amount of modernisation with the TV and Video player ( yes a video player ) needing updating, perhaps the sounder / GPS could be upgraded. Thats minor items in the grand scheme of this boat. Powered by a pair of Mercruiser 5.7 EFI petrol stern drive engines on legs with just 462 hours at the time of listing. Whats not to like ?37 feet of boat is a great place to start and with the work listed below carried out in late 2017 I expect it is operating cleanly.
