Caribbean is bringing two new models to the 2026 Melbourne Boat Show, running 15 to 18 October at Docklands, as the Australian brand returns to the event. The Caribbean 40 Flybridge Cruiser (40F) and Caribbean 27 Flybridge (27F) first launched at the Sanctuary Cove boat show in May, where Caribbean says they were met with international acclaim. Visitors to Melbourne will get the chance to step aboard both models, according to the brand's announcement.
The pair was reimagined by Bill Barry-Cotter, the boat builder behind Maritimo motor yachts, with Caribbean pitching them at a new generation of adventurous Australian boaters. The brand got its start in Melbourne in 1958, and says the relaunched boats carry close to 70 years of heritage forward with updated engineering, technology and styling. Caribbean describes both models as combining its proven deep-V hull design and offshore pedigree with contemporary layouts aimed at modern boating families and fishing enthusiasts.

The 40F is a flybridge cruiser Caribbean says can be set up for serious offshore fishing or for cruising with the family, with a spacious cockpit, generous range and a refined interior. The smaller 27F leans into the brand's fishing roots in a compact hull and comes fitted with 300 horsepower outboard engines. Neither model has a published Australian price yet.
Sean Savage, Director of Distribution for Maritimo and Caribbean, said Victoria has always been one of the brand's biggest markets. "It's incredibly satisfying to be taking the Caribbean 40F and 27F to Melbourne Boat Show, in the state which has always been the biggest supporter of the brand," Savage said. "We have kept the Caribbean DNA intact while introducing 21st century comforts and amenities on board, building on a proud legacy as we take the brand into a new era."
Caribbean will be at stands C19 and C20 on C Arm of the marina, where buyers can meet the brand's representatives and see both boats in person. Anyone who doesn't want to wait for the show can arrange a private look at the 40F beforehand. It's on display at Martha Cove by appointment through Streaker Marine, ahead of Caribbean's full Melbourne Boat Show announcement.
