Seller's Description
Currently operating as a potting, lining and charter vessel, this one-owner Bladerunner hydrofoil catamaran is built to work.
She was built in 2013 by Bladerunner Boats in Auckland for her current owner. Hauled out daily on her trailer, she was built tough from the start, with 6mm frames and stringers throughout and extra framing in the bow and stern. Her holds and bilges are still clean, bare alloy today.
What sets her apart is the Bladerunner foil. It sits in the tunnel between the hulls and lifts the boat at speed, taking weight off the hulls. That means less drag, a softer ride and better handling in a following sea. The owner reports she handles heavy weather exceptionally well.
She is powered by twin 370hp Yanmar 6LYA-STP diesels, giving 740hp in total. Each engine sits in its own hull under an insulated deck box, so servicing is easy from the deck. They drive Konrad 680A legs with counter-rotating twin props, for a 17 knot cruise and a 25 knot top speed.
The working deck is ready to go, with two hydraulic haulers, a Whizz wheel pot hauler and a large snood rack. Hydraulics run off a selectable gearbox PTO, which can be switched to neutral for steaming.
Inside, the carpet-lined wheelhouse offers a U-shaped dinette, a forepeak V-berth and twin suspension helm seats. The helm is well set up with Furuno navigation and a WASSP multibeam.
She holds MNZ survey until February 2027 for 18 passengers inshore and fishing restricted offshore. Her trailer and John Deere tractor are also available by negotiation.
