The Boating Industry Association of Victoria (BIAV) has opened exhibitor applications for what it calls the inaugural Murray River Boat Show, which will run at Yarrawonga from 12 to 14 March 2027.
The show is BIAV's Victorian regional boat show for 2027. It follows the association's Geelong Boat Show in 2025 and Gippsland Lakes Boat Show in 2026. It will be held on Lake Mulwala, and a map in the exhibitor guide places the show's pin on the Yarrawonga Foreshore Reserve.
BIAV says the show will "connect marine businesses with boaters, fishers, watersports enthusiasts, families, and holidaymakers". The guide aims it at fishing, wake, ski and recreational boating enthusiasts from northern Victoria, southern New South Wales and the wider Murray region.
The guide lists show times of 3pm to 6pm on Friday 12 March, 10am to 6pm on Saturday 13 March and 10am to 3pm on Sunday 14 March. Neither BIAV's September announcement nor the guide mentions visitor ticket prices. Exhibitor bump-in starts on Thursday 11 March.
The guide lists waterfront display sites with direct access and on-water trials for keen buyers. Exhibitors can also run on-water demonstrations, described as "mic'd-up to the waterfront and big screen, directly opposite the display area", with demonstration slots available on the hour. BIAV's July announcement also listed entertainment, seafood cooking, coffee, wine and food trucks.
That announcement named a long list of organisations as already engaged, including the Victorian State Government, Moira Shire, Yarrawonga Mulwala Tourism and Business, the Mulwala Ski Club, and brands and dealers such as Bar Crusher, Whittley, Malibu, Mastercraft, Nautique and Lewis Ski Boats. It does not say which of them will exhibit.
For exhibitors, the guide prices on-land display space at $35 a square metre for sites over 100 square metres and $48 a square metre for smaller sites, where a minimum space cost of $1,890 applies. It says all prices include GST and OHS. The guide also states that a 25 per cent surcharge applies to non-members of BIAV, BIA and BIAWA, but the non-member marquee prices it lists do not match that figure, so exhibitors should confirm pricing with BIAV. Marquee site space is priced separately, and exhibitors book their on-water demonstration time slots. BIAV encourages exhibitors to apply early to secure their preferred space.
